replaced my alternator and rigged some straight pipes of my manifold to by pass the block so i could drive it for a few days before a get it to the mufffler shop, saw all kinds of shit i could do, just waiting on those paychecks, a little at a time i guess

hey guys i have an l20b running a stock rebuilt hitachi, i just finished the rebuild and i also swapped from heat riser intake/exhaust to non heat riser, all of the egr has been removed and im having a little bit of tuning trouble. when the truck is warm i can get it to idle smooth, but when i drive it and i come to a stop sometimes it idles and sometimes it will idle down then quit, its quite annoying and i was wondering if any of you had any tips, i know one guy on here was saying something about the idle and mix screws, tinkering with them both in a certian way but i couldnt make sense of what he was saying, i have set my mix screw to 2-2.5 turns initially and set my idle screw, thanks

i guess any 6 lug rotors that will fit over hub will work, as long as you have a caliper and bracket setup for them

if your holding the choke closed then secondary your jet is too bigg, try downsizing a couple of jets on the secondary and see what you get, or just buy a jet kit and try several different combos,

buy what you wanna buy, dont setttle, be patient

well the first thing you need to do is gather all of the materials, front calipers from a mid 90's 4x4 d21, rubber brake lines for the calipers, a 79 280zx master cylinder 15/16" bore, 2002 honda passport rotors, the make your own disc brake brackets!!! or clean out your bank account and buy some of beebanis :eek:, but then again if you have any metal skills at all you should try to make them yourself, as far as the back some guys on here have used solid rotors but i am in the process of starting this swap myself and i was going to use the same calipers and rotors all the way around. good luck!!!!

rubberman are you serious? shit man i am sorry, i didnt even think to plug it up to my truck to see if it worked or not, i was too busy with my shiny tach, the mexican guy it came from he said he didnt know if it worked or not either, maybe you can crack it open and take a look at it, it shouldnt be too complicated, and there is a place up here where i live that can fix it pretty cheap if you think its the motor or something
