I had a blow out yesterday on the way to work which sucked ass, fortunately I made it to work which was just half a block away. Anyways today found all the tire shops are closed besides the shitmart lube and fuck your shit up shop. So on my way there I saw a small tire shop that I'd not noticed before, pull in and see if they are open. Turns out they are closed and are opening next month and just getting shit cleaned up and waiting for their stock to get in. So anyways the owner goes out of his way to get me a set of used tires and mounts them on my rims even throws in some new valve stems for free! (was a little pricey for used tires be 90 dollars mounted and balanced but fuck paying walmart) I was quite pleased cause walmart was all like "its gonna take us 4 hours to get new tires on your wheels you brought in" he did it in 5 minutes, even willing to mount stretched tires for me with no issue.

Most yards dont even bother with the vin unless they are paying for the car. I worry about my roadster with insurance at times, the car is worth a ton according books but if anything happens to it they are gonna try to get it at what I paid for the body.

its always good to get an engine running, always a sweet sound as it roars to life.

That is why I was suggesting a locked down subforum with a posting requirement, lets say 50 post to even be able to post and you'd have to be member to even know it exist. I do like the fact there is only datsun/nissan parts for sell in the datto parts fs section but some of our members do have stuff that they think someone here might like and want that they want to sell. Yes, with stuff comes junk so putting it all in a subsection with high requirements would limit it quite a bit.

I know its mostly to keep people with 1-2 post from trying to sell crap on here that isn't related and help with organization but I'd figure someone with well over 50 post or even 100 has been around enough selling one or two non datto related things wouldnt hurt any. Maybe we could get a random fs section added on and you need so many post to sell there? Personally I don't like selling to everyone on like CL and would rather deal with people here on ratsun or the various forums I browse that have a little better sense of community.

Thats why I think some outrageous box flares would fix this one, then figure out how to get the runroof fixed and add some JDM star taillights and flake paintjob like a hot pink flake with white racing stripe or something.

Every time I do that mine tells me "quit being a lazy ass and fix it already!" then realizes she should have kept shut up as me staring at it is cheaper. :lol:

a VIN might be helpful, I know I'm pretty far away but I'm sure someone in that area might check their vin.

I can get the idea of the sunroof, but duct tape fail, should have got proper weather stripping. But thats just the bosozoku speaking. lol I can see this car being better off with some super fucking wide box flairs, crazy offset wheels and the sunroof. Thats too classy for the current owner to pull off.
