I like to meet in public places like parking lots if possible, overall I really dont like buying off craigslist as it just gives me the heebiejeebies.

tried all the names and seems the gf has called her mary enough I cant get any other name to work. Though she did respond to "works equip 1" but thats a little long of a name. I was hoping Datsmo would work and call her Datto for short. Well fortunately she isn't the type of dog to run off, she knocked me on my ass as I went out the door and just stood in the front yard looking back at me like "what?"

Are working with points and adjusting valves that hard? people seem to look at me crazy when I say its no problem?

It's no problem on these cars. On some cars, the valve can be more difficult though, still not that bad though. But, you're not crazy.

It's not that they're hard to work on, but with Points they constantly change timing, dwell, and duration as they wear. Valve lash isn't done that often, but you need to have a feel for it.

Right! not a problem. On 4 cylinder engines setting valve lash correctly is the best and easiest route to max power. Check the vacuum advance line for leaks also.

I'd check the needles, but also has this carb been adjusted at all? As least with my experience on the SU carbs and floats is the overflow tube will spew fuel out as well.

She looks to be a pup, her paws are as big as my hands almost. I'm wondering if she was a farm dog due to all the dirt and the fact she shows the sad signs of being chained up around the neck, if shes not claimed I'mma teach her how to ride shotgun in the roadster which shouldnt be too hard as she *loves* car rides.

Thanks, hopefully it will work out and we find her owner. Shes quite the attention hog, any time I stop petting her she pokes me with her paw like "hey why'd you stop"

rusty floorpans aren't an issue long as it runs, my baja bug is like swiss cheese but gets me anywhere. Depending on the exhaust leak, the heating up might have allowed it to seal up better.

Yeah, its a she. I was mostly worried about bringing a new dog in the house as you never know how they will act tell you have them around other dogs. I'd have taken her to a shelter but I'd feel bad about it as all the ones around here are kill shelters. Being a great pyreness and looking to fit the breed standards I'd say shes gotta be missed by somebody.

Hehe, we've been calling her baby girl for now since she doesn't like doggy much. Shes quite friendly and loves attention though she seems to be super nervous of other dogs, fortunately she gets used to them after a bit.

So this dog got dropped off by a friend who almost ran her over, we're currently trying to find the owner but it seems kinda doubtful she will be claimed. So my gf and I need a name for the dog, she thinks Mary is a good name but we aren't sure 100% so figured I'd ask some help.

I thought about buying a italian sports car seat for the datsun but decided to go with racing seats :lol: Anyhow, you guys must be good to be getting some of those cars as they require a lot to get shiney due to the nooks and crannies in them. -
I've gotten so protective of myself from other drives and law enforcement that I record everytime I drive.

I'd say go look at it and drive it before you decide, you can always replace the cage with just a bar that allows a hardtop. All it needs is proper flares added and a proper hoodscoop

We're getting closer to it in a medical sense every day, robotic prosthetic replacement parts are hopefully going to be possible eventually. I'd like to not have to stop driving stick because I loose most of my leg for some reason or such and really hope it goes further.

I figured out of boredom I'd create a thread worthwhile. So how many of you guys/girls found a dead rat in your Datsun after you got it? I found 2 in mine after tearing the interior apart and fortunately being a convertible I got the rat stink out fairly easy and. So vote and maybe post a story about it or something.
