  1. I kinda doubt it, he never contacted me about it.
  2. I dunno man, that 12a would look better in my B210 I think
  3. Audi is one of the few car manufacturers that I feel still make nice vehicles. This thing looks perfect for a family/small business while being professional enough for a ceo and fast enough to beat down all those honduh guys. However, a 710 goon would have had more character :P
  4. Haha, can that be my title?
  5. Skinny paints is on ratsun again! I don't think she heard me :(
  6. So, will AAA tow a car I just bought if I try to play the woe is me card? Was thinking of joining this week anyway but if they would tow my new purchase that would be a huge boon to joining. Its 125 miles one way...

I joined AAA and they let you print a temporary card as soon as you sign up. and it doesn't matter what they tow as long as the card holder is present. I'd push the car to the street say you just bought it and it broke, tow dat bish home. BTW AAA has saved me and my siblings numerous times

The classic membership if I'm not mistaken allows you up to 7 miles. I've got the plus plan which gets you a tow up to 100. The premiere plan gets you 200. However, having had a car towed about 70 miles once I can tell you that you have to schedule that. You can't call them up and have it towed that same day (unless they've changed policy since then). Lame, but that's how I had to do it. You may also have to wait for a period of time before being able to join the premium o...

What I was saying before my sentence was cut off is that you may have to wait a period of time before being able to join the premium or premiere service. So you might be stuck with only 7 miles for a while.

  7. Lol, its like a honda rape van, circa 1970. Just replace those circle windows with flower power windows :P
  8. Yea, that is the pic. Those at the bottom right :w00t: I will spend a lot of time researching to see what I can find. While I don't expect my 620 to come out as clean as your minty, I do want something unique, so I really appreciate the pointers on finding parts. Sorry for the thread jack, please continue with this lovely minty beast :)
  9. I really don't want to be this guy again, but I want opinions on CAs vs KAs for a B210. If anyone has done these or similar swaps let me know what you think.

Lol, 13b? I could sworn you were gonna say KA :P I have a full parts list for the KA swap, the CA I know next to nothing about but have read up on some swaps just now :P

It looks like cheapest of the choices will be KA, CA follows but the price jump is 1-2k, and SR after at about 1k more than the CA. Guy needs to buy my damn civic now...

  10. Alright, sounds like a project for when I get off. Pretty sure going through 100+ pages to find a grill or emblem I want wouldn't be advised while I'm at work. Thanks for the info on the rims. I saw you post a sheet with multiple SSRs on it in some thread so I thought I would bring them up because at the bottom there where 2 6 lug pattern ones. If I remember correctly the one on the right looked amazing :P The wheel sheet was like 3 columns with 5 rows of wheels/advertising.
  11. Oh gawd da yota! Kill it with fire! Just kidding. Love the history there, nice looking projects and you look to be well versed in function > form. That is a very nice looking 510, can't wait to see what you do with it (as long as its not a v8...)
  12. I am not going to lie, I am extremely jelly of the progress you have made here. So jelly that I think you should help me source some of those lovely 6 lug ssrs for my 620 when I get ready to buy rims :P On a serious note, you have any comparison sites you don't mind sharing where I can see some JDM 620 styling vs USDM? If not its cool, I just don't like doing wild searches while at work :P
  13. Good luck with the interview. More money means I get to see more parts I will never be able to get. You people with all those special connections :ninja:
  14. So, I saved a ton of money on my car insurance with Progressive... Stupid gecco says my truck is too old to insure :(

they told me the same thing, then said hagerty was there collector car insurance and to call htem. So i did and they told me imy datsun didn't qualify cus i drive it too much....

I love how they think old cars can't be DDs. The total difference between my old company (Nationwide) and Progressive was $295 vs $218 for just the 620. If I add the civic it is $575 vs $335, but the civic should be sold by March 15th.

Oh, and those are for full 6 month terms, not per month.

  15. Very nice goon. Hope you are able to get it back on the road reliably soon.
  16. Yea, as sad as my Datsuns may be, I know I would end up with a 72 skyline (close enough right?). Also an original r32 (Euro not US) a ford vicky replica roadster, some 50-70s model full size truck (gotta haule stuff), ect. The problem would be buying just enough vehicles so that none get neglected :P I would love and hate to be like Jay Leno.
  17. Just running "flux core" for now. I want to get a bottle but I have been lazy about it. I have only used the welder a few times so it isn't worth the investment till I start working on the bed of the 620 (cancer like whoa...)
  18. What, really? I figured omeone would have grabbed this by now. As much as I need more packing peanuts (about to sell my civic's old turbo), I don't need another grill. Guys just remember, if he ships it you get 8 black trashbags full of packing peanuts :)
  19. Yea, I know exactly what you mean. Me and my ex used to work together, but I was a supervisor so she would get to the parking lot 5-15 minutes before me. Long rides home... I spent everything I had to pick up an old beater (my slammed B2200) just so we didn't have to ride together anymore.
  20. Haha, glad to know the truck made it out ok :) Carpooling stinks. Esp with the wife/fiance/gf cause then you don't get that free driving time. For me the drive to work is when I can let stress out with loud music and just relax.
  21. $295 for 6 months of insurance on a 74 620... wtf Nationwaide.

I'm with Sick620. I pay under $200 a month for my SE-R on full coverage, another on liability, my 620, renters, and with an accident

      Cleopatra Jones

$335 for 2 cars is a good deal. I'm paying $221 on my '81 210 with State Farm every six months. I'm in CA.

Nationwide is not on your side, go somewhere else, I had been with them for over 10 years with my contractors insurance, never had one claim, and then all of a sudden they canceled me, not one claim.

  22. I would say I would never own/drive any newer (less than 30 years old) Dodge/mopars, but I used to drive a 98 stratus and dakota... I will say the stratus was just to get me too and from work and the dakota was a lapse in judgement. Both has front end issues (tie rod, hub, brakes) and the dakota transmission died along i-75.
  23. So, after driving the truck to work with the new lower stance, I have decided bump stop replacement for the front must happen. Back has 1.5-2" to the bumpstops, front has 0.5"...

I have 15 on the truck now. Pretty sure the others are 15s as well. They are spray painted gold so I just threw them under the house and didn't look at them anymore. They will probably get a few coats of black.

I *may* have two 205/60/15's soon if you want them :P 90% tread, literally both look brand new, I just need something wider soon..

Alright, I will keep that in mind. Tomorrow I am going to dig those other rims out and make sure they are 15s. I know they are steelies and they are ugly ass gold :P
