That rear end... 50% of the hp would be bogged down trying to carry all that metal/plastic... I have never been a real fan of caddies though. It is strange, I always said "I don't like boxy cars" then the xB came out and I kinda liked it. Saw my first 510 and fell in love... Guess my whole box car idea is out the window. I think Cadillac and Lincoln generally have horrible styling, and I can't stand all the "comforts." Give me something fun to drive with heat, a manual transmission, and maybe A/C and I'm happy. Give me heated seats and I feel pampered. Add heated rear view mirrors? Now why the hell do I need that?

I don't have the time to worry about mounting and wiring the saturn alt, so I'm gonna grab that 200sx one. I don't plan to have a large sound system and halogens annoy me, so hopefully a 60 amp will work. I'll probably grab an OEM one (not a reman) as soon as it comes in, but the reman will get to to work for today which was the main issue :P Bleach said to use the 200sx belt so I will pick one up and try to document the swap. It is strange that vatozone stocks this, no other parts store in my area keeps anything in stock for pre 90s imports.

Ah thank goodness for Vatozone and Bleach mentioning the 78 200sx alternator. Looks like I may be able to get the truck up and running today :)

Alright, I had asked about the alternator upgrade about two weeks ago and looked over all the info I could find and what happens this morning? Stop to get gas and I don't have enough power to crank the truck. Solo push start (glad it was a flat parking lot) and get home, not even enough power to turn it over and the lights are very dim. Shadows were being cast in front of my headlights by the streetlights... The reason I think it is the alternator and not the battery is that my charge light has been blinking furiously since I got the truck. Lately it has been staying on for longer periods of time and this week it is on for about 60-70% of my trip to work, which is a 40 minute drive one way. I know I should have checked into it more seriously but I procrastinated. Flame away. I'm gonna go have the battery checked today, but if it is in fact the alternator, I guess I will be doing an alternator upgrade. I am thinking the KA truck alternator will be the easiest after everything I have read but please correct me if I am wrong. I have work again tonight and no place near where I live has an alternator for the 620 in stock, so I am just trying to find the fastest way to get back on the road. I think my venting is over. Have to say, push starting the truck is easier than any vehicle I have ever owned. I didn't know how light it really was till I pushed it off with one leg from inside the cab :P

Prefer long straight arm style that clips onto rain gutter. I know egay has these but I figured I would offer Ratsuners my money first. Just need drivers side, but will buy the pair if you have them since the passengers side rarely sells solo.

Those warranties hold up if the dealers aren't completely crooked, but most are now days. I would still never want one, no matter how nice my boss says his is.

lol, it wasn't raining when I put them on, it had rained the night before and the mailbox was soaked, so then the package got wet and seeped through the bottom decal.

So I think I have finally come up with a rough draft of what I want my truck to end up like in my head, and that picture has a 50/50 chance of including a checker board hood with rat playing peices. I will have to see how I like the hood when I finish the paint, but how difficult would it me to add another peice over the current rat sized head from the rat-n-wrench set up? I am thinking something like 3 "kinged" rats on the board but I'm not sure if I would want crowns or jester hats :P

I'm sure we have all done stupid things, but I agree with Mike. IMO posting illegal activities on this forum makes it seem like the forum approves of that behaviour. While I don't feel we should be crazy about it and lock any and all threads telling about some illegal activities, I feel that we shouldn't praise these acts. Keep the racing on the track and show what your car can really do, rather than 'racing" on the street putting lives in danger and not knowing if the other guy is holding back in case a cop is round the bend. I have found ratsun.net to be a great community, and while there are those that will praise getting your datto to 120mph on some major highway near you, there are just as many people who will step up and let the person know that behaviour like that on public roads is not appreciated.

If you part it out I know two things it has that I need for my 74, but it would require you to remove two small panels. I need the rear drivers side panel off the bed (the panel with the side marker) and the passenger side panel below the door. Let me know if you decide to go this route please and good luck with whatever you decide.

Got mine today and slapped a dark blue on the truck and one on my mom's jeep. Keeping the yellow for the B210 and have a baby blue for when I paint the truck :P Thanks for the awesome price and fast shipping. I was worried because we had a lot of rain and one of the drak blue was soaked. The nose came out a little off because it did not peel from the tape and I had to stick it by hand, but you would only see that if you were 6" away. There was also some moisture that got stuck behind the vinyl on that one, but a small needle fixed the problem. All of the others were fine, so the soaked one went on the Jeep :P
