Break the cam in per manufacturers specs,Add a Zinc additive.Once the cam is broken in put a few miles on it to seat the rings,Change the oil& filter.Cut teh filter open to make sure everything is good.Add zinc to the new oil and drive it like your gonna drive it.500 miles,dump the oil again.

Check runner diameter first.It could be the last thing you'd want on a street motor.I''ve never seen one of those.Which means they weren't popular.There is a reason for this.

If you take HP out of the equation,EFI is superior to carbs in every measurable way.And as far as Q-jets go,they are one of the best and EASILY tuneable carbs ever made.

Sending units/guages work off of "ohms".If they don't match-it ain't gonna work.Find out teh factory ohm rannge and then the VDO.If's it's a mismatch,well-there's yer problem,Vern.
