I stand corrected.No rack will fit in a 620 with the exception(possible) of a racing rack.:(So A/C is a no-go with out major $$.)I'm done with the KA-24 conversion.L-20b it will b!

My wife restored a datsun truck before we met.She can't wait for the 620 to be on the road.

Why would i want A/C? I live in Tucson.And the truck is my wifes. Springtime is 105 degrees. And yes,it hits the steering box.But a Mustang II rack will fix that.

A KA-24 in a 620 does NOT let the A/C compressor mount.Be aware of this.:mad:

There should be universal adapter out there.Check with a GOOD Speedo shop.

A KA bell on a L series box will clock the trans wrong.The shifter will lean towards the driver which is no biggie,but the trans mount will not be perpendicular to the cross member.:( Not to mention the input shaft bearings are a different diameter and the shifter rails are bigger on the KA also.

For the record,KA bells do NOT fit to a L series tranny.:mad:

Bring #1 cylinder up to TDC.Then see where the mark is on the balancer.Then see where the rotor is pointing.It SHOULD be pointing the general direction of the #1 wire. If the piston IS at TDC and the pointer AND rotor is close to #1,THEN look at the carb. BTW-where the hell did the title"Hall monitor" come from?
