    The one i swapped came from a auto car.It's now in my stick bell.Interesting enough,there is a well known(and ancient)Alternator/starter rebuild house in town that swears the Datsun GR starters are abad design and will give a short service life.He built me a "High-torque"standard starter and this will be put in,if and when the GR shits the bed.

    Webers & Hitachi's...diffrent but both are excellent units.The header you bought....useless.Sorry.Fix problems then up-grade.

    Alternator went tits up and killed the battery.Jump it and then put a meter on the battery-it should read in the 13.8 to 14.4 range with the truck running-If not-reg or alt. is cooked. Put the battery on a 2 amp trickle charge and you should be able to save it.
