Dipping will remove any coating that still exists and accellerate corrosion.Douche them out and use-or replace.

Stainless is nice but it is an ABSOLUTE WHORE to work with.Take the lines off,use brake cleaner and flush the lines.Make sure you take apart all junction blocks as these are dirt magnets.Annual flushing will avoid any issues.

I wouldn't put a pertronix on YOUR Briggs & Stratton.Factory electronic,HEI conversion or MSD.Too many "real"choices out there to settle for Pertronix.

If return lines aren't needed,then why did those"idiot factory engineers"design one for 78 & later trucks?You don't need a pressure reg-just make sure the return"orifice" is properly sized and is restriction free. VR-i'm getting 3.5 to 4 with the above mentioned return line with w factory mechanical pump. And yes,you can use either side for a feed.I have my FP guage in the un-used side.
