  1. Youre very astute... I didnt.
  2. Are you done posting pictures of cars you dont own in the threads of pictures of cars you own?
  3. I like the stamped battery box; nice addition. Happen to have any more of those laying around?
  4. http://community.ratsun.net/topic/51058-olympia-south-sound-meet-saturday-feb-23/ Stop being lazy...
  5. Glad to see some updates on this Jeff... cant wait to see if rolling around the neighborhood
  6. $3500 isnt ridiculous for a 2dr. where youre at... you dont see too many 510s in Colorado. I probably would have talked him down to at least 3k because of the damage, but if it runs good, then fuck it. As long as youre happy.

    Truck looks great Jon!
  8. Ive seen it... I didnt know it was for sale though. Ive also seen 3 different (two different owners) Hakos in this area.
  9. I dont know why everyone gives that guy shit over the flared DSM. Its the same exact flare style as all the boso cars thatt everyone is raving over in the Boso thread. Its just a car that nobody really likes on this forum. You guys are going crazy over these ridiculous vanning trends and ridiculous boso cars, but because his DSM isnt some vintage J-tin its crap. At least hes trying to flare it for an actual track reason and not just to be a trendy bosozuko member. I mean really... Edit: 72, I didnt necessarily only mean to call you out on my quote as theres a bunch of members that give him shit. We all get it, people dont like DSMs on this board, but if you dont like it dont go in his thread. It doesnt need 10pgs of the same people constantly bashing him. Talk crap once and move on to what you think are better builds. Theres plenty of builds on this forum I think are lame, but I just dont post in them. Out of sight, out of mind.
  10. Yeah looks close. Though it seems like those doors are on a swing arm instead of a track... closest Ive seen though.
  11. WRONG! Look better... theres 32pgs of East Coast classifieds. http://community.ratsun.net/topic/11414-east-coast-classifieds/
  12. Actually now that Im awake and see his post again I think meant what your link was... he complains every time someone posts a link without saying what kind of car it is.
  13. The only reason I dont like Imgur is that after 6mo of picture inactivity, they delete you pictures. I would never upload anything to their servers I wanted to keep. Those sites like to use them because nobody cares about all the pictures they are sharing... its for an instant gratification and thats it. The pictures arent meant to be kept forever.
  14. You should be able to sign in with google and/or Facebook once youre up and running. I did create a Yahoo account for it, but honestly whats the trouble if youre never going to check it? It take 1min to sign up for it and then you never touch it again. I dont think Ive logged into that Yahoo account in years.
  15. I would assume that its Toyota related. TE is prefix for a Corolla body chassis code (TE27/KE70/ect) and rolla is slang for Corolla. The Datsun equivalent would be something like PLbird (PL510 and Bluebird).
  16. You should post up an introduction and build thread... especially since youre local to me.
  17. Lol my feelings arent hurt... its just a common mistake that everyone new thinks because its 2drs its a Coupe. The coupe standard was based on the interior volume of the car and not how many doors it has so even the 2dr. is too large internally to be considered a coupe. The actual Japanese coupe has the slanted rear roof line that cuts out a few more cubic feet of space dropping it under the coupe cubic feet standard. It just gets Datsun enthusiasts excited when we hear/see coupe so when we know its being erroneously used, we dont care too much for it. We get so many people coming in here asking what engine will fit in this or that model. Everyone things swaps are easy and they want to do a specific engine because they aready have it sitting in the garage... so why not?! It doesnt work like that. I didnt mean to "put you down," but the way you come across in the previous posts makes it sound like your knowledge level is below what it would take to fit either of those engines in a 510 right now. If you have 8yrs. or fabrication experience then you should know that you can check the weight of each engine vs. the stock engine, check the dimensions of the engines you want to install for the bay, check the transmission length for shifter position, check reliability statistics for the blocks you want to use... thats common swap points that you have to consider that never change. It doesnt matter if youre putting a Z22 in a 510 or an LS1 in a classic Corvette. Yes everything can be done with time and money. But it gets to a point where neither become beneficial to your project. I hope you do get your swap done and maybe one day I will see you at Canby. Ill share a beverage from my campsite.
  18. A quick swap can fix the auto... light interior?- like champagne? I love that color.
  19. What the fuck thread did I walk into...
  20. More like 120, but thats still plenty.
  21. No worries. I appreciate the compliments... yeah, I seem to have bad luck with flats, but Im pretty sure that its the shit tires I was buying. Oh well, live and learn. Like yourself, I should have some money coming my way so the build should be coming out of its dormant state here soon. I need to get it ready for Nissanfest and Canby.
