Metallica Possessed Mercyful fate Testament Death Angel Exodus Slayer Voi vod Venom King Diamond There are so many others but those are the ones that I have always listen to back in the day. The SF scene was still underground but was really alive with so many bands playing at Ruthie's Inn in berkeley, The Stone on Broadway SF, Mabuhay Gardens on broadway also, it was cool to see Cliff, Lars, Kirk and james just walking down the street and no one would bother them because it was so casual, The DA boys were cool also, they would always have a skate jam right in front of the place were they are playing later. Lars was just plain funny as I met up with him at the Japantown center in SF- we lucked out when my friend had spotted their tour bus right in front on the Best western in JP town ctr. Myself, I like different kinds of metal but lately I'm into a lot of underground death metal, check out these brutal bands: Artery Eruption Cephalotripsy Condemned Abominable Putridity Insidious Decrepancy Putrid Pile!
