RHD 280ZX 2+2 $500

http://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/pts/3000635351.html

If I could get away with it my plan would be: keep the wheels, sell the mirrors $100, sell the RHD stuff $300, sell the engine $200, scrap/part the rest. Free wheels plus some extra cash!

^^^ That is exactly what I was thinking! someone needs to get this fast, before the scrappers do.

I just want the wheels and possibly a couple other pieces. If someone wants to go in on it with me, they could have the body, drivetrain, etc.. WIN WIN. If I didn't have to work in 30min I'd be on my way up there.

I didn't see the badges before! Shit, and the struts and brakes thats another $150. Someone get this! So I quit hating myself for not getting it.

I almost bought that car like 2 years ago lol, would love to get the mirrors but no monies :(

So ...Why didn't you buy it then ... 280zx@541 ? Lol

Wow !!! ... one lucky duck that got that zx ... damn!

Because someone else beat me to it, it sold less than a day when I talked to the guy he said it was gone.

Saw this when it posted in April, I contacted the guy, he indicated it was sold but had another wagon that was going up for sale in a week or so...( that was on like 4-15 ) never saw any pics of the other wagon...

maybe the sale never went through..or he just never deleted the ad..

Also...

My father was in the works on restoring this nostalgic Japanese pickup and has now lost interest. He has got a majority of the body work (doors, fenders, hood, and bed) finished and in primer. The truck comes with a new chrome bumper, new grill, and factory smoked glass rear window. The motor has not been messed with and is currently not running, but does have a Weber carburetor installed. Interior will need some work as-well. This would be an awesome winter project for someone to complete or maybe a sweet parts truck.

I have no interest in this truck.. but it is local to me.

Dang, how much do you think it is really worth?

I'm sure If you brought cash in hand flashing $800 or even up to $1000 in the owner's face you can take it home. The advantage is that it doesn't run so that leaves room to negotiate a fair price.
