If he's acting as Trump's agent, that doesn't sound illegal to me.  NDA's are legal here, and it's legal to pay the person who agrees to one.  No wonder why some people are saying there wasn't any crime.  I'm sure there are lot's more nuances, but it still sounds very banana republic like..

If you asked your lawyer to commit a crime as your agent, it's still a crime.

NDAs are NOT a crime, true. But falsifying business records to cover payments to someone for their silence thus violating NY election laws prohibiting the conspiring to promote or prevent the election of any person to public office by unlawful means... IS. Cohen's payments boosted Trumps chances of a win by insuring her silence. Also Cohen's money to Daniels was, in effect, a contribution payment to the Trump campaign far exceeding the legal limit per the Federal Elections Campaign Act. There was also some tax law violations over how these payments were reported.

All of what you describe is completely on Cohen, there is no evidence Trump asked him to do this and Cohen's testimony says he did it on his own

David Pecker's testimony was the Trump was on board with paying people to quell stories negative to him. I don't have all day to run through everything. The court transcripts are public domain. Also why pay Cohen the exact amount Daniels was paid???

How come nobody asks why this whole thing wasn't a crime until Trump announced another run at the Presidency ? This shit happened eight years ago. We all knew about the payoff a long time ago and nobody cared about prosecuting anybody. The left realized how bad Biden really was and decided they needed to help him win again because cheating wasn't an option this time ?

At best 6 years ago. Remember there was no payoff till November 2016 and the NDA was in effect. That's 7 1/2 years ago.

Start of general public knowledge, but still alleged.

January 12 2018: The Wall Street Journal is first to report that Trump allegedly paid Daniels $130,000 in hush money via Cohen.

February 13 2018: Cohen acknowledges paying Daniels but says it was from his own pocket.

April 9 2018Federal authorities launch a probe into Cohen, raiding his offices in New York, as part of Robert Mueller's Russia investigation into Trump. This is the earliest digging into the scandal and possible evidence gathering of a crime. Evidence gathering could take years. Decision to prosecute could take time. Trump was President at the time so caution required.

Finally, trump admits payoff.

May 3 2018: Trump acknowledges he paid Cohen for the hush money paid to women on his behalf for the first time.

January 30 2023: Grand jury convenes in Manhattan on a criminal probe into Trump's hush money payment for Stormy Daniels.

So about 5 years from start of investigation to Grand Jury.

None of that matters if you hate Trump.

Read again, I never said he didn't pay her off. No one new about it 8 years ago you sure didn't. It was barely 6 years ago the SHTF about it.

Wasn't public knowledge until 2018. Looking back, yes it happened late 2016 but you didn't know this then or until 2018 with the rest of the world. At best it would have been an allegation and deniable.

In 2016 MAGA elected a president and they have been rabid dogs ever since.

Still waiting for you to list all the crazy shit you guys insist the "deranged" MAGAs are doing.

As far as I can tell, they're not out blocking roads (just stop oil-lefties), burning down mom and pop businesses(BLM-Lefties), supporting terrorist organizations at universities (Pro-Palistine-Lefties), or grooming kids in schools pushing for more Trans BS (LGBTQwxy&z-lefties).

They're home waiting patiently to vote.

They aren't 34 different things, it's the same one over and over. The hush money was broken down into 11 or 12 separate checks so it wouldn't look so obvious. 11 invoices for legal services, 11 checks paid for legal services, 12 ledger entries for legal services. Why pardon? If there was some extreme miscarriage of justice, maybe. Guilty as sin of falsifying business records, pay the piper.

Already answered. They are crazy by virtue of mindlessly following their crazy leader. They are not at home waiting to vote. Some are in jail, recently out of jail (maybe at home) and some awaiting jail sentencing?

Quoting Tucker?? How can it be the fairest justice system in the world when at the same time it's controlled by the Biden Democrats? (every time Trump loses some legal argument or case) So according to Tucker, Trump was more than fairly convicted in the E Jean Carol case X2 and falsifying business records? Tucker makes a living telling you what you want to hear.

He'll never provide you with that list. Unless he makes up a bunch of crap like he usually does.

Wouldn't one or more of the jurors ('the good people that are seeing this') have held out if they thought this was unjust? A hung jury? This is all sour grapes. Sick a fork in it and move on to sentencing and then the next case against him.

As in the Carol case people are seeing Trump for what he really is.

No Ronald De Clown, if Biden were the defendant stupid enough to illegally hide payments for silencing a prostitute to win the presidency, he certainly would be prosecuted in his home state of Delaware. And with that much evidence against him, he would definitely be convicted.

Well John by not 'seeing my comment's you are telling everyone that you can't handle opinions contrary to your own. Hand out criticism but can't take criticism. Another form of wilful blindness. I can only assume that MAGAs are also thin skinned. While you can't see this everyone else can.

I don't think Biden is also stupid enough to defame someone so brazenly in so public a manor. As yet he has not been recorded saying he can treat women like shit and 'grab them by the pussy' either.

Biden is a corrupt clown in his own unique way.

I'm sure he means the justice system pre-current admin, pre Trump trial.

Tulsi Gabbard, Elon Musk, Tucker Carlson, Bill Maher, Megyn Kelly, and a host of other left, right, and center "TV" personalities. Have all denounced this blatant attack on democracy by the left. All intelligent folks with different political views saying the same thing. But we should take your word for it cause it's just "all sour grapes". You need to zoom out and see the bigger picture.

People give Biden way too much credit. He's in the whitehouse watching reruns of Sesame Street and eating animal crackers. They're feeding him Gerber and changing his diapers. And you guys act like he's somehow still making the big decisions and running the country.
