wayno
That seat didn't come in that truck, but if you put the 521 sliders on the 620 notched seat it will bolt in. It is decent looking, but by no means is it perfect. 1 Quote Link to comment
Charlie69
$5000 is too much for that truck. No information on mechanical condition of truck. 1 Quote Link to comment

mrbigtanker
I think it’s worth it. Hard to find clean 521’s these days. I bought mine from the original owner for 1200.00 and it was in pretty bad shape. But all original also. 1 Quote Link to comment
thisismatt
I'm not sure it's worth 5k, but I agree it's better to spend more up front than nickel and dime yourself to death trying to resurrect that $1000 version 1 Quote Link to comment

It may be worth 5K to someone who always wanted one. 1 Quote Link to comment
Charlie69
New England from what I have read is hard to find anything old that is not all rusted up. But I think Datsuns are especially hard to find. I paid $300 for my 66 520 and yes I have thrown wads of hundred dollars bills at it but what an enjoyable journey it is! Quote Link to comment

You guys always talk about JY's and Pick 'n Pull's. We don't have anything like that, and if we did and you found a Datsun, it would be like the gold at the end of the rainbow. 1 Quote Link to comment
XXL
I lived in Walpole years ago and went to a semi-local junk yard (there aren't many of them) looking for some relatively trivial parts for my '69 Chevy pickup. Guy first stared at me like I had a 3rd eye in the middle of my forehead, then broke out in laughter, then when he realized I wasn't from around there, informed me that anything more than about 20 years old looks like this... 1 Quote Link to comment
abbylind
I bought my 620 for $1000. It was an NM vehicle originally bought from a local dealership. Looking at the paperwork I am the third owner. The only rust was in the usual bed locations. Were really lucky here in the desert SW. Rust on vehicles is usually surface rust if any.....dashboards and interior parts are a different story....the sun and UV rays are murder Quote Link to comment

Have a few yards in extreme loctions that do not crush so they still have a few 620s and up. Quote Link to comment
d.p
West coast guys just don’t understand the 521 east coast tax. And that brown truck is not nice. Quote Link to comment
