The 510 is sitting at -5.5 all around. I was shooting for -4 on the Z. I have been trying to get a set of Watanabe Gotti since I saw the re-release in 2015. As some of you know I sold every vehicle I owned to import a hakosuka in 2015. Around that time I was working with the dealers I knew of in the USA and no one could get me a set. I ended up buying R-type which I love also. The Gotti dream was never given up on and last year I met Lonely Driver through social media and he has always sent exclusive info and stuff my way. I told him of my dream last September and he said he would look into it for me. By October he was pretty sure he could get me one of the 5 allocations for 2019. I immediately sold a ton of parts and placed my order. Here we are 9 months later. Also huge thanks to @7venty3 for sharing the perfect specs on stock body 😊 I am so overwhelmed with joy 😭😭😭. He said he was free so the next day I decided I had to protect the signature and get the tires mounted so we could get them on the car. five1oh Posted June 21, 2019 Author Report Share Posted June 21, 2019 (edited) After tires were mounted it was off to my house to get them installed!!!!!!!!! So I knew Pavel would not have fun rolling the rear fender on my car because of the previous damage. One day it will get fixed properly but I am not ready for that yet. At first I wanted to avoid rolling my fenders because of the originality of my car but I am glad I squashed that idea. Front right fender was replaced many years ago and the left rear fender was ripped on a tree and filled with lead. The right rear fender I found to be rusted when rolling yesterday so it would have been pointless to keep completely stock. Don't get me wrong I will have it repaired properly with metal but I am not as concerned having rolled lips now. The car didn't need any pulling so I am super happy. five1oh Posted June 26, 2019 Author Report Share Posted June 26, 2019 Cut up the nice Fujitsobo to make more room 🙂 😁 The resonator hung so low that I am likely going to gain 2" of clearance which will put me 2.5" off the ground without my fat butt sitting in it 😂 Hoping to finish it tonight. Also will be pulling the right fenders just a tiny bit more.....yes I know I now need to repair the fender lips 🙂 I am also planning on taking care of the ugly overspray on the gas tank. five1oh Posted June 26, 2019 Author Report Share Posted June 26, 2019 I am getting really tired of Ratsun flipping my pictures so if anyone knows how to fix please let me know. When you open the link in Flickr it is oriented the correct way. It appears the pictures in this forum is locked to the way my phone took the picture?? For instance I have an iPhone X and if I take the picture with the screen tilted left it is right side up on this site. If it is taken vertical the picture lays to the left, if it is taken tilted right the picture is upside down. The weird thing is when I screen shot the picture upright it transferred ok. The suspension worked great and I didn't bottom out on anything. This way I won't have to pull the factory body work and can get away with just the roll and still drive this low. SO CLEAN!!!! I decided to finally replace the rear carpet and front trim piece. Slowly getting this car sorted. JCCS registration opened today and I am very close to being ready.
