  1. After all of my cement work was done the car was in desparate need of a bath. I think this is the second time I've washed it since purchasing 18 months ago. Looking forward to driving it soon. Need to finish green car and list it and then this is up to finish next Untitled by five1oh2010, on Flickr Untitled by five1oh2010, on Flickr Untitled by five1oh2010, on Flickr Untitled by five1oh2010, on Flickr Untitled by five1oh2010, on Flickr Untitled by five1oh2010, on Flickr Untitled by five1oh2010, on Flickr Untitled by five1oh2010, on Flickr Untitled by five1oh2010, on Flickr Untitled by five1oh2010, on Flickr Untitled by five1oh2010, on Flickr by five1oh2010, on Flickr by five1oh2010, on Flickr by five1oh2010, on Flickr Untitled by five1oh2010, on Flickr

  5. When I got home I parked it next to the 69 2 door. You can see how big the driveway is and how I could fit 8-9 cars if I really squeezed them in Untitled by five1oh2010, on Flickr Untitled by five1oh2010, on Flickr Untitled by five1oh2010, on Flickr Untitled by five1oh2010, on Flickr Untitled by five1oh2010, on Flickr
  6. Washed the car and drove up to Santa Rosa for the Breakfast Club Rally pre-meet. Unfortunately I was unable to attend the drive due to family obligations but plan to in October. 7. After leaving the oxalic acid in the system for a week I did a flush with washing soda and then filled with coolant, distilled water, and water wetter. The temps came down a bit but still is a little high for me. For now I am going to drive it but looking into a carb tune in the near future. By the way I LOVE my new driveway 🙂 Untitled by five1oh2010, on Flickr Untitled by five1oh2010, on Flickr Untitled by five1oh2010, on Flickr Untitled by five1oh2010, on Flickr
  8. Then a drive down town: Untitled by five1oh2010, on Flickr Untitled by five1oh2010, on Flickr Untitled by five1oh2010, on Flickr Untitled by five1oh2010, on Flickr Untitled by five1oh2010, on Flickr
  9. One of my other drives during the oxalic acid was out to napa for lunch with my friend Ralph in his goon Untitled by five1oh2010, on Flickr Untitled by five1oh2010, on Flickr Untitled by five1oh2010, on Flickr Untitled by five1oh2010, on Flickr
  10. so the z has been running hotter and hotter and I decided to finally try to get temps down. It was slightly difficult because my Z was at my bro-in-laws house while cement was getting done and then curing. We started with an oxalic acid flush in which I drove the car 3-4 consecutive days up to temp so the acid could work and break down any clogs. 11. So while my house was getting new cement I needed a place to park a car and my bro-in-law offered his garage. It was nice because it was also in town: Untitled by five1oh2010, on Flickr Untitled by five1oh2010, on Flickr Untitled by five1oh2010, on Flickr Untitled by five1oh2010, on Flickr Untitled by five1oh2010, on Flickr Untitled by five1oh2010, on Flickr
  12. So a lot of you have followed my SHAKOTN build the past 3 years and I am excited to say that my original vision for that car will be lived out in THIS one. As sad as it will be to sell that car this one will be a worthy replacement... Using my good friend Naveed's shots from my Z Speedhunters feature and my WHACK photoshop skills I present to you the goal for this car. 🙂 😁 CACTUS GREEN COUPE HERE WE COME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 13. I was able to visit my coupe and bring home the rear window and some interior during James' meet. Can't wait to start making progress on this car 🙂 Untitled by five1oh2010, on Flickr Untitled by five1oh2010, on Flickr Untitled by five1oh2010, on Flickr Untitled by five1oh2010, on Flickr Untitled by five1oh2010, on Flickr Untitled by five1oh2010, on Flickr Untitled by five1oh2010, on Flickr Untitled by five1oh2010, on Flickr

  15. So I have had a TON of fun with this car over the past 3 years but unfortunately it is time to pass it on to a new owner. Many of you have followed my skyline project and after 5 years of struggle and pressuring Eric to do other projects it will be moving to a shop to get completed. Eric has been a great friend of mine for over 13 years and the hako project has been a thorn in his side for a few years. In order to speed up the progression and get the car complete we have mutually decided to move it on to another shop. Eric has turned out some amazing cars for me including this one but now I need bags of cash to finish my dream car so sadly this one will be out of the fleet soon. I am keeping with my vision and making some changes to prep it for sale on BaT in the next month or so. I hope you guys have enjoyed the build as much as I have and I look forward to providing progress on my other cars soon. Please enjoy the last transformation before she heads off to a new owner. Many of you know me and my plan from the start was to eventually convert this car to a coupe by swapping the roof. I was fortunate to convince James to sell me a coupe so I will no longer be completing my vision with THIS car. From the start I have always thought coupe lights look best on coupes and belong on coupes. The lower roof gives the right proportions from the rear and the lights have never looked right on my sedan (IMO). Because I will NOT be swapping roofs I am turning this car into a JDM sedan spec so a few things need to be done: Taillights Wiring harness removal of center console Gauge cluster swap ...and I will also be keeping my fog light grill Interior will stay as it currently has sedan door panels but I am leaving the coupe seats Untitled by five1oh2010, on Flickr Untitled by five1oh2010, on Flickr Untitled by five1oh2010, on Flickr Untitled by five1oh2010, on Flickr Untitled by five1oh2010, on Flickr Untitled by five1oh2010, on Flickr Untitled by five1oh2010, on Flickr Untitled by five1oh2010, on Flickr Untitled by five1oh2010, on Flickr Untitled by five1oh2010, on Flickr Untitled by five1oh2010, on Flickr
