Doctor510
Use an adjustable wrench Quote Link to comment
bilzbobaggins
Why does 9/16ths sound familiar to me???? Quote Link to comment
Lockleaf
It's 14mm (which is close to 9/16s) Quote Link to comment
Stoffregen Motorsports
If it's the OEM style, it has a 14mm hex on it, but it may be one of those weird Bosch style sensors that have the large wheel security lug pattern on it. If that's the case, a freaking channel lock will get it out. 1 Quote Link to comment
banzai510(hainz)
just remeber the block is a 1/8 BSP thread. Most kits you get are 1/8 NPT or just order the stock sender. If your changing to a oil line get a adapter and a well made hose. Thiose cheap taiwan plastic lines break ove time due to heat cycles. Shit they all do. Autometer has the stuff Quote Link to comment
metalmonkey47
They make a special tool for that. I believe the one below will work. Never tried to use anything else, just happened to have one of these laying around that my dad gave me years back. https://www.amazon.com/Lisle-13250-Pressure-Switch-Socket/dp/B0002SR2RY 1 Quote Link to comment
DanielC
Datsun oil pressure switches use a British thread, an American standard threaded switch will start in the hole, but not seal. Forcing the wrong one tighter will only destroy the threads in the block. 1 Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Any adjustable wrench will also work and you probably already have one. 1 Quote Link to comment
Stoffregen Motorsports
1/8 BSPT, not BSP. 1 Quote Link to comment
