48071-01W00 for 2wd manual steering.

48070-19W05 power assist, tilt steering and 4x4

48070-19W05 looks to be discontinued. Where are people getting there's at?

It's likely to be NLA on an almost 40 year old truck. Different if a consumable like brake shoes, water pump, alternator.

First I would start a want ad here... https://ratsun.net/classifieds/category/9-datsun-parts/ ... someone may have one, can't be worth much and shipping it is inexpensive.

Next I would get one off another 720 in a wrecking yard.

Next I would look at other sources that might also fit and work or could be modified, such as from a Toyota.

Last I would make my own from a piece of 7/8" thick conveyor belt.... and this is what I did on my 620. Hell you could cut one out of the side wall of a truck tire.

Can 48071-01W00 be modified to fit like 48070-19W05?? I can find 48071-01W00 on ebay.

I think I would create my own thread and post this question.  You will find that some, has entire custom heating cooling system, others have added AC from a junkyard or parts truck.

What you won't hear recently, is that one has purchased any significant parts from the dealer.  Those are all long gone by now.

In my search for a suitable anti-backfire valve for my 1984 truck, I started referencing some other models that may use the same valve. I was able find one on RockAuto that's for a 1984 Nissan Stanza. The two part numbers I was able to find for that year of Stanza are: 14835-D1800 and 14835-D1801. It seems that these part numbers are only compatible with 1983 trucks, but for 24 bucks I thought I'd give it a shot.

I had to ship to a friend outside of CA because of Prop 65, but she said it's a genuine Nissan part with ABY79-3 on the cap. I'll confirm when I get in in the mail from her next week!

Got the part today!

I'm not sure exactly how it works, though. I can apply vacuum to the small port, but it slowly loses vacuum over time. However, if I apply vacuum quickly I can feel the valve pop open for a second, then close. I need to pick up a vac gun to some more precise testing. Either way, this thing was pretty cheap!

My 86 has the exact same backfire valve I just took it off

How about front inner and outer wheel bearings for the 4WD? . Currently searching but hard to find complete sets!

Im surprised how easy it is to just buy the race or the bearing but harder to find sets . Even harder to find all 4 bearings in a set .

I own a 83.5 so what year do I get ? I see listings for 80-83 and then 1983-1986

83.5.... what's the build date that's more accurate. The '83 model year began Nov. '82 I think.

 Up till 12 '82

Inner............ 40210-41W00 (I can't make sense of this, the inner and outer may be the same bearing?)

Jan '83 and on

Inner............ 40210-50W00

Outer........... 40215-D0100 to 06'83 and 40215-50W00 from 07'83 (different outer possibly fro switch to auto locking hubs? I don't know)

Echlin part# 2-4131

The box contains two diaphragms, which are needed to repair the B.C.D.D. on some of the DFP384 carburetors. I haven't tried to install them yet, but they appear to be identical to the ones I took off my parts carburetor.

Do you think a rag joint  from a 86 d21 fit?

Just giving a update. The d21 rubber part does fit, its the same size . You just have to take apart the coupler and reuse your old coupler

Here's one for you

The turn signal switch assembly for a 85 720 King Cab. I pulled this one of my truck since it wasn't working properly, but I cannot find it online anywhere. The ones I find don't match the wiper stalk. Anyone got a part # or matching part?
