If you get the chance,go through Bratteboro,Vermont,

& then take highway 9 to Bennington,& visit Hemmings Motor News.

They have a free mesuem there,& 9 is a freat drive.

I just made to drive from Eureka,CA,to Richmond,Virginia.

Met lots of nice people,& saw some great scenery.

If you get to Richmond, visit Japanese Classics. They import

interesting Japanese cars to sell.

Chattanooga,Tennessee has the Coker Tire Meseum,Lookout-

Mountain,plus nice scenery.

Nashville has the incredible Lane Mesuem, with lots of cool cars.

If you get to Eureka,CA,look me up.

My wife and I were going east on Hwy 58 just east of Emerald Isle, NC when we spotted "doing it in a Datsun" headed west. Made a U turn and caught Jason a few miles later.  It took a few more miles in the traffic to get his attention and flagged over. We had a nice conversation with Jason about his adventure and wished him well for the rest of the trip.  Enjoyed the coincidence of meeting him on the road and the opportunity to get acquainted.

Wish we had been in the 280Z, it would have been tempting to tag along for a while!

Hey gang! Taking a minute to let you all know I am very much west bound now. Just crossed the Texas line.. Texas will take some time! I will likely stay on the 10 into the LA area, then the 101 north. I have been thru California multiple times, so I will be making time. I have been planning a trip to CA, to scout my next winter Datsun project car.. They just don't exist in Utah.. So, if you know of anything.. Let me know. Running condition not important! Body/rust is.. Might be interested in any model! PM me if you have something or know of something! Hope to meet up with some enthusiasts along the way for a meal or just a Datsun escort thru town!

Sorry I missed you then.  You've already passed my part of Texas by now.  It's a shame you're skipping over Texas by staying on I-10.  You should at least take a run through the hills when you get around San Antonio.

Pro tip.... Datsuns are cheaper in the PNW. And arguably... more plentiful.
