US Navy's new toy, floating power station...

those are unedited pics

this thing can produce something like 78 MW of power. That is around what a city of 100K would consume give or take. Even though the class was cut short, as are many ambitious projects with ridiculous cost overruns, it will be an amazing developmental platform.

this thing will have lasers and rail guns in a decade. the US already declared a 30 kilowatt combat operational laser system on the USS Ponce, and has had promising tests with naval rail guns. it is pretty easy to see the paradigm shift in increased power production of new classes of US warships. Lasers man, lasers everywhere.

That's a nuclear powered stealth battle ship....

WTF!!! Che Guevara! A page later and no one chimes? This is THE most relevant figure on this list. And the list is fatally flawed in its award. Many fall above these. Still, good to recognize.

Che is a total piece of shit!

Oh, sorry, do you own a t-shirt?

Glad someone else knows.

Che was a ruthless, and unforgiving leader. He was not a great fellow to have above you. But he was absolutely one to speak against, stand against, and fight against. He was passionate about bringing reform to his country as well as others. He was undeniably assassinated for his insistence in speaking up against upheld authority, and that was the image I commented on. He remains the most relevant figure on that list. I don't vouch for him. But I respect his spirit.

My gf showed up one day with that t-shirt and I told her to ditch it or me.....she was like "but you're Argentinean" yes I am and I despise the fucker.

amen, brother and for a commie revolutionary espousing universal brotherhood he was one racist sumbitch with the tolerance level of a Mississippi KKK member circa 1963.

The piece of shit was executed in Bolivia trying to overthrow a government! He was not assassinated!

If you go by what you say, then every piece of shit out there is a hero! They all did what hey believed in and stood for it. Some real nice guys did that, like Hitler, Pol Pot, Stalin and many more!

Maybe it is time to ask Santa for some history books and less porn, eh?

A reminder of the context here. He was no saint. But he did dedicate his life standing and speaking his warning against western dominance and he was assassinated a day after his capture. The Bolivian army was acting on behalf of the USA. He was a brutal killer. And probably a terrible person. Still he was loud in his warning against United States political/financial dominance in Latin America, and he was assassinated for it. None of the others were so blatantly assassinated directly for their silence. I believe MLK was largely racism.
