Stoney
Surely there was enough room in the engine bay to fit the fans behind the radiator? they work so much more efficiently as a pull through setup Will you be sourcing one of those Aussie made centre guage panels to fit the headunit? http://www.gilsonproducts.com.au/products/products-datsun-510-centre-console-lhd/ 2 Quote Link to comment

shacks510
It's going to work the exact same as anything else. The seal is the same rubber your brake piston seals are made out of. 2 Quote Link to comment

thisismatt
Looking good, how do thousands fans attach to the rad? Drywall screws. Actually, looks like he's using those cheesy ties that go through the radiator fins. Very unmbt of him. 3 Quote Link to comment

Thanks I figured it had to be something like that. Looks here he has some tabs that go between the fins and looks like the fan is held in place with them. Looks if you rotate the fan counter clockwise it would come off. 1 Quote Link to comment

I would like a more sealed unit that is just better built. Quote Link to comment
shacks510
Dumb luck I guess. A slave cylinder is a slave cylinder. I don't see how a pricier one will be less prone to failure. My car sat for 12 years and the slave worked fine. I put a new seal in last year just because it was out of the car. Don't be scammed buy the $15 4 electrode octo-iridium Bosch spark plugs. 1 Quote Link to comment
