Robb
Hello, just wanted to check out this website. Always been a fan of the 510 and always on the lookout Here's some pictures of my 1990 Crx Si. I'm the 3rd owner since June 2006. The original owner kept it for 2.5 years then sold it. It has only seen 1 winter in 1991. It has been rustproofed every year pretty much, It came with full service records, as well as a Monthly Microsoft Word service log. The person I bought it from is a teacher in Scotland, and came back to Ontario every summer and used the CRX during that period only. I also have the original bill of sale, from the original owner, who still had it. He was kind enough to mail it to me. Anyways, on to pics. Heres some updated pics of the engine bay. Nothing changed except newly powdercoated valve cover, air intake snorkel tube, new engine ground wire, battery terminals and different plug wires. http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7249/7515768362_215b31ab76_b.jpg http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7271/7515767450_220b42afd9_b.jpg http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8004/7515766820_7ba4e9eb11_b.jpg http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7133/7515765230_a44b1f22fe_b.jpg Enhancements / Upgrades: Powertrain: SOHC d16a6 motor Crane 6000-6420 ignition system MSD distributor cap & coil NGK Blue plu wires (not shown in [ics) K&N Panel Air Filter DC Sports 4-2-1 Ceramic coated header DEI Exhaust header heat wrap Supersprint Axle-back muffler with dual chrome tips Vibrant Short Shifter Exedy Stage II Clutch Lightened flywheel Suspension: PIC Select adjustable coilovers (spring rates 12k front & 14k rear) Neuspeed rear sway bar Neuspeed front sway bar Neuspeed rear tie bar Neuspeed front upper strut brace Exterior / Brakes: 15x7 et38 Kosei K1 wheels (12.5 lbs each) 195/50 15 Bridgestone RE-11a Tires (new for 2013) Teknotik gunmetal extended lightweight lugnuts Russell stainless steel brake lines 15/16” 1989 Prelude master cylinder Brembo front x-drilled rotors, Brembo blanks in rear, zinc coated Hawk HP+ brake pads all around Oem Crx front and rear mudguards Oem Crx front lip Oem Crx car cover with bag Oem Crx full front bra (New in Box) Interior: 320mm Momo Montecarlo steering wheel Sparco Aluminum racing pedals Stock Crx shift knob Custom made front floor mats (for daily use) Oem Crx black floor mats (New in Box) Oem Crx center Armrest (1 New in Box, 1 installed in car) Stereo: Clarion DRZ9255 Headunit Zapco Studio 50 and Zapco Studio 100 x2 Amplifers DLS MS6a Midbass Kicker ND25a tweeters Kicker KS80 Substation 4 Quote Link to comment
r0p0doe
This site is for Datsuns bro, posted in the wrong thread. We have a non Datsun area where stuff like this goes. 1 Quote Link to comment
MicroMachinery
Sweet ride! That thing is so freakin' clean; even just in the pictures, which I'm sure don't do it any justice as compared to seeing it in real life. Welcome to Ratsun :) 2 Quote Link to comment
Komeuppance
Yes this site is for bro datsuns only. You have to say datsun in every sentence posted. Absolutely nothing that isn't about a datsun may be generally discussed here, ever. -Robert 2 Quote Link to comment
bonvo
that thing is bad ass man one of hondas best cars in my opinion 2 Quote Link to comment
Son_of_a_Datsun_Guy
Wow that's clean. I have a thing for those little CRXs, almost had one instead of the 510. There is a section for non-datsun projects, but I think the introduction was cool. If you're on the hunt for a dime this isn't a bad place to be, and you'll learn a lot just cruising here that'll get you motivated to really get one. 1 Quote Link to comment
I'm BLUE
That CRX is so EXTREMELY wax on wax off spray-n-shine clean it's ridiculous ! NICE.... ! Thanks for sharing , and welcome to the fold....! I tried to buy one of these off someone I knew years ago. Great cars. 1 Quote Link to comment
