Yep, they were quite nice looking in person and in case anyone asks, they do move under their own power.

 

That Fridolin is there almost every weekend and is one of the coolest vehicles there IMHO.  Hell, the Ferrari Enzo 150 feet away was boring.

Something tells me Flava Flav must have designed the center mounted instrument panel in the IDX.  And why isn't the front end painted the same color as the fenders.  Baaaahhhh, just not good!!

A real Bluebird is a Datsun model series 310, 410, 510, 610, 810 or 910.

Maximas are 910, and the "Maxima" name was first branded in Japan as a higher up model of the Bluebird 810, the name cointinued when the 910 series came out and all American market  910 were branded Maxima.

 

1st gen Maxima's definitely count as a Bluebird in my eyes. VIN tag even says "HG910"

 

I was just joking, truly none of our cars are bluebirds since they werent sold in the "bluebird market"

 

but I digress.

I was there at c&c and asked the guy about the power plant for the idx, said they don't know yet they just have dummy motors in the cars to move them around...
