ktm
Yep, they were quite nice looking in person and in case anyone asks, they do move under their own power. That Fridolin is there almost every weekend and is one of the coolest vehicles there IMHO. Hell, the Ferrari Enzo 150 feet away was boring. 1 Quote Link to comment
HRH
Something tells me Flava Flav must have designed the center mounted instrument panel in the IDX. And why isn't the front end painted the same color as the fenders. Baaaahhhh, just not good!! Your motha's on welfare, kick that shit! :) Yeah boi!! Quote Link to comment
r0p0doe
They could of cleaned them tho, they were both dirty and in need of armorall on the tires... Quote Link to comment

Bob3
Still looks like more like a retro Celica than a retro 510 to me. 1 Quote Link to comment
mrbigtanker
They mentioned there that there not going for a retro 510 period. It did look better in person but also jetsonsish at the same time, but that's were the future is going. 1 Quote Link to comment

Laecaon
I like it. Could just be the cheapest RWD sedan in America. It looks like nothing else on the road. And no, I dont think it looks like my 510. But it does look like a car I want. 3 Quote Link to comment

captaingamez
I don't think I have enough balls unwarranted hate to do something loke that. I do, Dont think its unwrranted though. my sign would say "real Bluebird" since I dont have a 510. The point is clear enough. Quote Link to comment

ggzilla
A real Bluebird is a Datsun model series 310, 410, 510, 610, 810 or 910. Quote Link to comment
captaingamez
Maximas are 910, and the "Maxima" name was first branded in Japan as a higher up model of the Bluebird 810, the name cointinued when the 910 series came out and all American market 910 were branded Maxima. 1st gen Maxima's definitely count as a Bluebird in my eyes. VIN tag even says "HG910" I was just joking, truly none of our cars are bluebirds since they werent sold in the "bluebird market" but I digress. Quote Link to comment
graveltrapp
JNC's latest update. I think it looks a bit extreme but what new car dosent. It's a move in the right direction and it tugs on the retro strings with the seudo BRE scheme. http://japanesenostalgiccar.com/2014/02/05/street-debut-of-the-nissan-idx-concepts/#comment-32508 Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
Which came first? Maxima branding was put on the upmarket 1978 Nissan A11. the "Maxima" name was first branded in Japan as a higher up model of the Bluebird 810 1 Quote Link to comment
Z chopper
I can see where people think the IDX was inspired by the 510/610/710 etc... Give me the Freeflow with the Nismo mirrors and I'd call it a day. Quote Link to comment

John McClain
Came across this article. This seams more realistic if you ask me. I still love it!http://www.roadandtrack.com/go/future-cars/future-car-news/nissan-idx-rendering-concept Quote Link to comment

I was there at c&c and asked the guy about the power plant for the idx, said they don't know yet they just have dummy motors in the cars to move them around... Quote Link to comment
