They now make it in Black color too.

I'd try...... "Adhesive Remover", or if it's on a modern Urethane paint job, Acetone will take it off and not hurt the paint.  I just used Acetone on my 2010 to get tree sap off.  On the safe side, as far as not harming paint;  Lighter Fluid sometimes works,  as well as DX330 (Wax and Grease Remover/ Paint Prep).  Also, non-clorinated Brake Cleaner...  I buy the Wearever Brand from Advance Auto.

The release agent stiff works great. As a tech I have had the unfortunate experience of replacing alot of 1980's camaro t-top weatherstrips. If you let the chemical do the work meaning spray it on let it sit and then start working you will have much better end results.

Just my 2 cents.
