q-tip
It's not the speed that kills you, it's stopping suddenly. Quote Link to comment

Mattndew76
I don't think that's a Fram. I think that's a UJ filter. Quote Link to comment

datzenmike
They used to be good, is true. But when too much is spent on advertising, the cost has to come out of something. So the price goes up or the parts get cheaper. It's my guess that the Fram line of filters was sold and the buyer wanted to make a profit but not spend anything to do so. There must be a term used when you buy a company's reputation and cheapen the product, counting of the name to sell it. 1 Quote Link to comment
Mattndew76
yep you are correct that is a Fram but I haven't seen that style in years. Decades Edited October 14, 2019 by Mattndew76 1 Quote Link to comment

Originally Optima batteries were made here where I live but after they were bought the new owner moved the plant to Mexico, the price went up and the quality went down. How anyone with a conscience can lower costs while raising prices is beyond me. 😟 2 Quote Link to comment
