difrangia
Has anyone added or seen a good addition of a third brakelight @ top-center of the back of the cab on a 620? Maybe something that would fit and look semi-natural between the drip channel and rear window? I've been toying around with the idea in the back of my mind for a bit. I'd hate to get flattened by a 'Super Duty' or equivalent. I've had several bad experiences piloting scooters and microcars and am running out of my 'Nine Lives'. Steve Quote Link to comment

cruznude
Tell me about it. I live here in Albuquerque,NM and everyone here has no insurance a least it seems that way and they drive just horrible. Definitely don't take yours eyes off the road! I don't know about your light but that is a real good idea and if found the right one, would look real classy. Would like to see when done also. Good Luck!! Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Wiring will be a problem as both brake wires to the back share the turn signal. Depending which side you use it will flash when turning the other. You will have to tap into the brake pedal switch. 2 Quote Link to comment
MikeRL411
JCWhitney lists many add-on third brake light LED units. One should satisfy your need. Good prices also, they are forever running free shipping promotions to boot. I have one of their units on my 411 sedan. Quote Link to comment
metalmonkey47
I bought some universal ones off Ebay and set them up on the frame under the tailgate on either side of the license plate. Like Mike said, they do flash with the turn signals though which is okay with more. The more visibility the better. Quote Link to comment
oldschool90
and set them up on the frame under the tailgate on either side of the license plate I think what difrangia wants is something higher up so things like full size/lifted/semi trucks can see it easier. Quote Link to comment

BlackBird620
On well forgot to take a pic before I left work but here's a link to the companies catalog for the lights http://www.grote.com/product.php?product_number=49322 Quote Link to comment
]2eDeYe
You would just need to make a pigtail to tap into the stock brake pedal switch. That would be a lot easier than running another switch. 1 Quote Link to comment
danfiveten
Heres a idea for you, do as some of the other trucks around here do. The big red led strips across the back bottom of the box, or even your tailgate, and do half one side, half other, to light up for turn signals as well, they are super fucking bright, and better than jsut a 3rd ugly brake light. KlassicMotion
I'm planning to put this under my rear window, above the bed... High enough so the person behind me can see it on a lowered truck... It may not be pretty, but I don't want to get rear-ended... again! http://www.ebay.com/itm/221280920280?ssPageName=STRK:MESINDXX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1436.l2649 Quote Link to comment
