My only point was that without an M3 body it's actually not an M3. On the E30 chassis, an M3 wasn't just an engine upgrade and some badges like it was with the later cars. I have actually seen "M3" convertibles without the wide body. Very similar to what you mention, only with a ragtop

 

 

 

 

And please don't threaten me with physical violence. I don't think a disagreement over a car requires you to threaten to kill me with a truck.
