They are really sexy cars. I cant believe how much they have shot up in price now, 20k? 30k? craziness.

 

They are a PITA to work on compared to an E36 from what I am told. I have no idea though, I dont work on Bimmers.

 

If I was gonna get a former DTM car though, it would be this sexy piece of 4 door awesomeness.

 

Or if I was gonna spend e30 M3 money I would buy the nasty, rare version.

Yeah, that is %100 true, you can not have anE30 M3 with no flairs, they dont exist. He could mean a different M3 though.

 

All e30 M3 have flairs though, Heres why.

it was known as a 325 and it most defintely was ... I helped pick the car up ... it took 6 months to get here.....( had 7 miles on I when we picked it up)...once it was finished getting built ...... im not captain games,   im not here to win u over with amazement just regurgitating my life... father was friends with old b,w northwest owners up here .....the m body accents are hideous...it was one f three that were state side......not sure if it was a factory redux or a way to get one,   but I can tell u we had one all dressed to the nine in bbs ...fucking car was notoriously wicked .....I shoulda bought that shit/....even at a young age I considered it a brother to the 510 with its styling cues and shape...

 

theyvealso had 6 7 series over the years ..... two actuall m 3's later years .... a m6 both new and from the 90's,  a 850(piece of shit) and I plan to have a few 5 series in my day but not yet...since then they have moved onto benz and Porsche((stupid yellow gt3 I posted a while back ..)  but my mom still has a 750il and a 760il in storage ....so suck it Datsun freak.... it did happen.......and they have a house in texas and if u keep treating me like captain games I will have my dad do donuts in his freightlner sport chassis in your lawn...carefull hes 70ish so don't just run out there he may run u over....on accident but if he does he has strict order to grab your 1200 and any 510 with a long roof u have

If it was really one of 3 and you didnt buy it then that was pretty dumb. I asked a Bimmer buddy, (just an enthusiast not an expert or anything) And he has never heard of it, but he is asking around.

My only point was that without an M3 body it's actually not an M3. On the E30 chassis, an M3 wasn't just an engine upgrade and some badges like it was with the later cars. I have actually seen "M3" convertibles without the wide body. Very similar to what you mention, only with a ragtop

Its possible it was an m-tech 325 not an M3, I will have to ask a buddy of mine to clarify if there were any stock bodied(not flared) e30 m3's.
