Hey Nismopu! Skib turned me on to this site, I'm really like it a lot. It seems totally laid back. :)

slodat, I'm using a Wolf V500 EMS (from AUS). I'm running sequential injection (RX7 n/a injectors, 460cc/min). Also 6 Denso coil "packs" firing sequentially (Ron Tyler design).

I recognized Ron's coil pack setup. Is this the same setup Mike Hintz is running in his yellow ZX?

Exactly. They are from a 2000 Suburban (P/N 12558693). For the connectors, you have to make two V8 harnesses into one I6 harness. I tried making a bracket out of Lexan, but it wasn't as nice as the 6061-AL ones that Ron / Roostmonkey have for sale over on Hybridz.

My work in progress:P1000217.jpgP1000216.jpgP1000171-1.jpgP1000212.jpg

Currently involved in minor rust killing, minor bodywork, while engine is pieced together. Next Step is the rear 280YZ quarters...

Gawd damn agentalpha, that is going to look soooo sic!! (and lighter too) :w00t:

Are those reaction research flares? How are you going to treat the rear, if you don't mind me asking...

is it me or are these things prone to rusting tnear the gas door?

Yes, I've noticed they rust there alot. I'm betting because of the seam inside the fuel door trapping moisture along with the flap.

Ty. Bro.

I think so, too.

I am very blessed, the way this WHOLE build has gone.

I feel very fortunate.

That's a roger, Sir.

Treat? As in wheels?

Or,what am I doing to balance the front?

With 280YZ quarters?

img_49812_std.jpg

Already have them in my storage unit, waiting.

Just gotta figure out what rims and tires

I'll be running in the rear before I mount them.

I have to radius the rear wheel wells first.

Been having a heckuva time finding wheels that are worth the money,

but not too hyped, or too custom for my budget.

My gas door area is rock solid.

My Z has NEVER seen snow though, either.

here are a few pics of my now running project. I've got about 177 miles on it now, and im pretty impressed witht eh top enbd of the l28 with the dual early 44mm su's and 6-2 header Still have some work to do with the lack of bottom end though. Not sure if the engine has a cam or not. I had started stripping some areas down to bare metal checking for rust when I had to do some emergency work on my other car, so thats where that white spray paint came from. No big deal, she is gonna be painted here pretty soon anyways. Right now, I am debating if I should keep these weird, dual light h3 flat faced lights that were installed back in the day. Kinda weird lights. They have 2 bulbs, one lights up low and orange and just down the near road while the other lamp shoots straight ahead. Apparently they are pretty rare these days.
