datzenmike
Not really any upgrade between those two heads, and the big change will be the switch to standard transmission.. 1 Quote Link to comment
connerd
Between the carb and head and trans shouldn't mileage improve? Quote Link to comment
Fat510
Between the carb and head and trans shouldn't mileage improve? not really... whats wrong with your engine? Quote Link to comment
datsunaholic
Between the carb and head and trans shouldn't mileage improve? Unless the stock carb was totally worn out, the Weber usually reduces mileage unless it's tuned for lower power. They're generally a bit on the rich side for a 2L. Head won't improve anything mileagewise, and may make it worse. Valves are identical size to the W58, and the exhaust ports on a W58 may seem smaller but unless you're constantly running over 5000 rpm, they flow fine. Manual trans, maybe 5% improvement. datzenmike
You will enjoy driving it harder and get less mileage. Once converted over to the 71B type 4 speed keep your eyes open for a 5 speed. It wil fall right in and get better mileage if you drive a lot on the highway. 1 Quote Link to comment

ggzilla
Use only marine grade plywood. All others will degrade over time. Even CDx is not good enough. 1 Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
So I'm going to be traveling West this Sunday. Have a few A10 things people have asked me about. Never had a proper way of transport. So I have a full round eye swap. Grill, headlights, buckets. Only thing missing is the badge. An FSM. Perfect condition. And I have mhub's hood still.
