72nismo
Question for the real die hard Datsun 610R's. Just FYI fellas looks like this 610 going up for sale. Bentaxlebob
Wish an SR20 would had been used as opposed to the KA motor. That takes away some value since the stock engine is no longer in there. I would have some concerns about this car since it happens to be a hot potato. Despite the seemingly great mods, no owner wants to keep it. I would question the integrity of the bodywork. Perhaps that is where the lice resides. I remember photos o that car before it was anything close to a finished product ( blue in color ) and it looked pretty rusty. On the surface it looks very cool. But something turns off owner after owner. Quote Link to comment
DATS_IT
DATS TUFF not sick..... what diff is that and does anyone know the ratios of it? seems not many know of its reason for moving owners but there was a 710 coupe here in oz that did the same thing... i would prefer to own something like that only if i new the history. in oz that car with that sought of mod and if body is as good as it looks in photos would fetch 12000-15000k ..... sad i know but they dont seem to crazy for 610 s here in oz..... I LOVE THEM! Quote Link to comment

Many factors have to be considered with this car (not trying to nit-pick...) It is a '74 with '73 parts on the front end, correct? This is a deterring feature. The look is great...I know, I own a '73...with '73 parts. It would be an easy sell to show the look of a stock '74 compared to a '73. Why did it need an engine rebuild? IIRC, the one that was installed had low mileage (<100K). This is a worry if I were to see it. But, the engine is now rebuilt, so I guess its a moot point. The car still has the 4 wheel disc conversion, correct? That's a plus. I would put a $12,000 to $13,000 value to it. Why? Many things do not have to be done to this car. It is a benchmark for excellence in the 610 building community. I have an ugly sedan, but she is a '73 and I kept her true to form, up to and including an L-series motor and automatic, even though it is not the L18/3N71B combination she was born with. I have things that need handled on her, but I would want a steep figure to even consider parting ways with her. I have too much blood sweat and tears in mine...but if I were to consider a price, mine would be 5 digits...all day long. Quote Link to comment
