skyblue
Did you do comp test with engine hot or cold? All spark plugs out? Quote Link to comment
freetheoranges
Engine hot. One at a time. Quote Link to comment
skyblue
You have to take all the plugs out and also disconnect the coil. Then do each cylinder one at a time. Quote Link to comment
Busta Nut
Get it HOT....... If you can....disconnect the fuel before the pump and let the car die.....(drains all the gas out of the carb so it doesn't wash down the cylinders) Take ALL the spark plugs out and disconnect the coil....... Turn each cylinder 7-10 revolutions..... Post new numbers........ Quote Link to comment
510T
I like the blue wheels. Needs FREETHEORANGES stencil on tires though... 2 Quote Link to comment

freetheoranges
This thread may have to be moved to Project Datto! haha CRAZY play in the driveshaft. Have to remember to buy u-joints on payday. Have to. Remember. The ole L20b is choking on a big ole dick lately. And before. And before before. Like 6 months now. I'm probably just dumb but I can't pull in the scratch for another L20b but I want to. Have to figure out a way to visit Datsunvilleland (atom and tendril [raymond]). Daily Driven gets harder and sketchier every time I turn the key. .. Like a "choose your story" book adventure except the dime picks the page numbers and you're effed from the get-go. but I still and forever heart her Quote Link to comment

freetheoranges
So I pulled the driveshaft and there wasn't any play so I put it back in. Never did that before. Cool! Payday I want to get a new weber downdraft 32/36 and find one with that shut off switch for blow by on shutoff. Poor girl.... the carb is the only worry 'atm' and my only hope for street-ability. Poor poor girl. When not in gear or decelerating in gear a constant whine .. So much air flow. She still gets me places but SHE'S SCREAMING AT ME THE WHOLE TIME! "EEEEEEEEEEEEE!!" gives me chills.... and nightmares.... cool! Quote Link to comment
