So, the passenger side got done last week, and Brody started tearing into the driver's side to find the rear parallel assembly not quite so parallel....

So, after a trip to the Arlington JY this afternoon, we got home and wrapped this shit up. We had to drop the rear cross member to clear the bolt around the gas tank to removed the old one and put the "new" one on.

And the Maxi-goon is about ready to hit the road again for a while :w00t:

Snowflakes are still tire-less, sitting in the basement storage.  We have studs on the stock rims right now, but will put the snowflakes on once winter is over and we buy some tires.  Not sure that we're going to make them any other color.  We don't really have much money with him being in grad school, so the money that we do have is being dumped into the 510 right now, and then will shift to the 521 or 311.

Brodster has just been dailying this for school.  Just surpassed 124,000 on it last week.

Oh, thanks for bumping this!  I had meant to post this pic yesterday, but forgot.  Put the new wheels on last weekend.  Other than that, Brody has just been driving it daily.  Made it's maiden voyage out of state to Bend, OR two weekends ago.... ran great, did great in the snow over the pass by Mt Hood.     Good little Maxi-goon
