You guys.. so who's coming over to help me smoke my car out?! I'll be trying this out soon hopefully, I have a crazy good fog machine I can borrow from my work or I'll get smoke in a can if that doesn't work. dakotahchore
Got her running pretty decent after working on the IACV unit a bit, but she's off to see the wizard and get the rebuild finished up and full 2.5" exhaust. 5 Quote Link to comment
dakotahchore
Car's at the shop, seems most issues have been fixed. Several small vaccuum leaks, faulty new knock sensor, thermostat wasn't opening properly. Exhaust cam might possibly be off a tooth, but regardless everything is fixable and she should be driving again soon. 3 Quote Link to comment

dakotahchore
Big news. After 2 years of watching me restore my own ride, my Dad also just gave me his 67 Firebird basket case to finish as I see fit. It has a built engine and transmission waiting to go in.... 2 Quote Link to comment

dakotahchore
Motor started, ran and idled but something was off. Thought it was TPS or MAF, but next day I had no spark coming from coil. Tested Ignition Control Module, seems to be dead. Waiting on a new one in the mail 1 Quote Link to comment

dakotahchore
what was the celebratory beer? Sculpin IPA 6 pack B) Welded my traction bars in and modified them for my ride height. No more driveshaft rub. YES, you can slam wagons without cutting up your trans tunnel! Quote Link to comment

YES, you can slam wagons without cutting up your trans tunnel! I know it's worked well on a couple of wagons I've seen with 2-2.5" drops. Haven't seen it done on a 3"+ drop. How does she go now? No banging? Quote Link to comment
