Car's at the shop, seems most issues have been fixed. Several small vaccuum leaks, faulty new knock sensor, thermostat wasn't opening properly. Exhaust cam might possibly be off a tooth, but regardless everything is fixable and she should be driving again soon.

Big news. After 2 years of watching me restore my own ride, my Dad also just gave me his 67 Firebird basket case to finish as I see fit. It has a built engine and transmission waiting to go in.... 

 

worse news on ratsun today.....lol just kidding .. dont put a ka in it

Welded my traction bars in and modified them for my ride height. No more driveshaft rub. YES, you can slam wagons without cutting up your trans tunnel!

 

I know it's worked well on a couple of wagons I've seen with 2-2.5" drops. Haven't seen it done on a 3"+ drop. How does she go now? No banging?
