Pacific coast Datsun Posted July 22, 2010 Author Report Share Posted July 22, 2010 A few more baby steps taken today on the "not so" secret mod :rolleyes: it'll clamp under the drip rail then a bolt will go through both pieces of metal........ the tubing it rests on fits perfectly into the channel....... I just couldnt see myself drilling into the roof :rolleyes: Ive always wanted to make one from scratch..i borrowed a few designs from racks ive seen on VW's. I welded on a few more parts after work today, the wood will sit almost flush with the crossbars & screw in from underneath...... Quote Link to comment
