metalmonkey47
Thanks for the help man! We got that done so quick that it was crazy. lol I hope you get some good use out of those leafs on the 521/720 hybrid I still have another 2 inches I can drop them using the shackles. This would be EASY to slam. lol Quote Link to comment
jon521
lookin good! i wonder if 720 4x4 springs would fit a 521..... Quote Link to comment
Farmer Joe
lookin good! i wonder if 720 4x4 springs would fit a 521..... yes, they surely will... 521, 620, 720, and i think even the d21 used the same length leaf.. Quote Link to comment
izzo
I thought the d21 was a little different. Can't remember. I think Fastdadd used d21 springs and had to drill a hole or some shit. Quote Link to comment
fastdadd
the cenetr pin does not line up and i made my own lowering blcks out of a piece of aluminium and had to drill the hole at different spots top and bottom Quote Link to comment

metalmonkey47
Started with suspension work again! Front shocks went on today, rear shocks tomorrow. The fronts were absolutely blown out. I also scrubbed the fender wells clean and sprayed them with some cheap undercoating. Quote Link to comment
hacked521
looking good, probably rides a lot better having actual shocks on the front end. Quote Link to comment
Laecaon
Monkey forgot to tighten his lug nuts again. 2 Quote Link to comment

metalmonkey47
lolol^^^^^ I was doing brake work. Got new shit all around the rear. New shocks too. The old rear passenger shock was so blown out that I could collapse it by hand and it wouldn't come back out  so much better now! Anyways, thanks to Hitch, I now have a long tube header! Gonna ditch the straight pipe and go with a Summit Racing resonator. Maybe a glass pack on top depending on the volume. 1 Quote Link to comment

That's scary. lol I'm having a new exhaust bent soon after taxes, so a resonator and glasspack are in the running! If you ever need anything from Summit that you don't feel like ordering, let me know! I feel like this thread needs updating... I'm lowering the truck more soon. Haven't yet because the tires are too 'bubbly' and won't fit. Also now sporting EI and some new stuffs soon! Quote Link to comment

Siempreloco
I wonder if that L20 has more pep than my rebuilt bored l16 with a weber? then again you have a weber... you probably have me by a bit...but i picked up my truck right down near you, i should have told you when I was coming! Haha, it looks good though man. Question: why the 720 springs over just some blocks? Quote Link to comment

It was just like that one and man it hung down too far and smacked the pavment alot. I'm now going to use a Robello Racing 510 header. The collector stops at bottom of block next to lower tranny mount and I'll be able to tuck exhaust better. Quote Link to comment
