An engineer started looking at the Bug's drag and aero models and found that there are MASSIVE turbulence eddies that happen just off of the ass end of the car; so much so that it creates a vacuum pocket that essentially anchors the car in the air. I watched an Eclipse that was shooting flames not only get pulled over, but the rear fascia caught fire. Watched the cop scramble to his trunk and pull out a fire extinguisher.
