There are two basic model kits to choose from with various options within each. Decide what you want from below and you’ll be asked for your choices when you select to purchase your model.

1. BASIC KIT - this is a standard radio control model kit that contains:

• Assembled Chassis: Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) double deck chassis, fully adjustable 2-wheel rear independent double wishbone suspension, Oil-filled coil over shock-absorber, gear and belt driven transmission, rubber tires
• Clear Body: Polycarbonate BRE Datsun 510 body, BRE fender, BRE Front spoiler, Front and Rear Bumpers
• Decal Sheet: #46 BRE DATSUN 510 graphics, Window molding, Grille etc.
• Instruction and Paint Manual

Options for the Basic Kit:

1. Painted and assembled: A popular option you requested, you can have your car and wheels professionally painted and the decals and body parts installed for you for an extra $98. Please allow an additional 4-6 weeks delivery time if you choose to have your model painted
2. Radio Control Starter Kit: SORRY, UNAVAILABLE AT THIS TIME If you are new to the radio control hobby and have no other remote control components, you will need the starter kit for $129 which contains all the components you need to run your model, such as a transmitter, speed controller, receiver, motor, steering servo, battery and charger.

NOTE: If you want both options above, then the Ready-to-Run Kit below is for you at a reduced price then buying these options separately 

 

2. READY-to-RUN KIT – this Kit provides all three items listed above at a reduced price of $399 (vs. buying them separately for $426). Specifically with the Ready-to-Run Kit you receive:

• the Basic Kit (described above): with the model body, chassis, decals, etc,
• Painted and assembled: Your car and wheels will be professionally painted and the decals and body parts installed. Please allow an additional 4-6 weeks delivery time if you choose to have your model painted
• Radio Control Starter Kit:SORRY, UNAVAILABLE AT THIS TIME Described in detail above, this starter kit has everything you need to race your model right out of the box

Options for either kit above:

1. Taillights! A real attention getter is this rear taillight option for $74. Connect the circuit inside the model and the taillights light up (headlights are not needed as the BRE team cars had covers over the headlight area).
2. Smoke tinted windows: Not included in the paint option as you may want your model to look like the original race cars, without window tinting. This however is a nice option if you want a cleaner look to your model. With this option the inside of the windows are painted with a smoke gray paint for an extra $9.

Bodies Only: If you want to be John Morton one moment and Bobby Allison the next, you can! No matter if you already have a BRE ABC RC model or if you're ordering your first one now, you can order additional bodies (w/decals) by themselves, which are easily popped on and off your model chassis. They also come with the option to be painted and to have the decals and body parts installed. Just select from the "Related Products" list below.
