got another cab for the title and decided to use it for mock up for a roll cage just for fun. Didnt get as far as i would liked but my bender took a bit to get used to so we fucked up some tube first then kind figured it out. building a cage in a 521 is a whore! especially if ya want your seat to go back in!

my homebuilt air/hydraulic bender

WOW - nice work!

I have bought a few things from Trick Tools. The products I have so far have all been good quality.

What size tubing did you use and did you sleeve that joint in the main hoop?

.

tubing is 1 1/2 this cage has to come apart to get it in the truck unless i cut the roof off. especially the rear hoop so. its just lightly tacked right now. this cab is. just all for mock up

It looks great in there!

What radius die are you using?

4.5 i like the tightest bends possible good for tight areas and better lookin IMO

BTW for anyone that cares. NEVER BUY A HARBOR FREIGHT NOTCHER!!!! It is the biggest pos EVER! got it braced up milled down so the stupid thing will notch on center machined new bushings to take out the slop now the shaft just bent! i should have never sold my jd squared notcher (kickin my own ass right now!)
