521 Johnny
This is still in my cross hairs to get finished, I parked it at home so I can focus on it more, need to get it to an engine shop here soon, once it fires up I know its gonna go together quick! Quote Link to comment

521 Johnny
i actually didnt build this front end, in my opinion its lacking alot, i got the truck through a shop build trade for a buddy, being i didnt have to pay for anything and just got the truck handed to me for trade work i accepted the deal, its loud and fast! hacked521
oh didnt know, why do you say its lacking out of curiosity? Quote Link to comment
521 Johnny
spindel design has no KPI, single shear upper arm mount, too wide (99" outside of tires), other than that its ok, half is migged and half is tigged, i like consistency! Quote Link to comment
skibum315
Also looks like kind-of funky geometry on that upper arm (spindle pivot is way rear of the frame-side mounts ... I'm personally not a huge fan of this, but if it works then rock it). Plus the truck only looks to be capable of 2wd, 'course I may be biased being as I'm from Colorado and not the Dezert. ;) Can't wait to see more progress on the 521, followed the first part of the build with great interest and I'm now looking forward to watching the rest! Rhapakatui
Can't believe you were thinking of selling it. You probably know you made mini truckin again this month. How many times is that now? Kudos. Keep it going. I wanna see you in a real write up next. Quote Link to comment
521 Johnny
Ya that titan has an upper j arm set up, popular for desert trucks in so cal, it works fine And the 521! Ya I would sell it for 7k not a penny less and if I did I would have went out and picked uo another stock one to build since I have it down now And post up pics rhapakatui I didn't see them yet Quote Link to comment
521 Johnny
I'm betting ill be posting progress pics of it soon, new paint in the works as well as a lot of aluminum Quote Link to comment
Rhapakatui
Finally got a chance to take an oic. This one was a few months back. I'm sure I could find the issue if I dug around. I hope when it grows up, my truck will be famous like yours. Quote Link to comment
521 Johnny
Haha ya I finally got an issue and checked it out, the was the severed show, hot as fu@! That day! On a better note I got some things in the works for the 521, just sold my titan so maybe progress will prevail! Quote Link to comment

jinx3
Sweet truck and great fab work. I know I am just learning as I go - it's fun to watch how a pro does it! Quote Link to comment
RATMAZ
What port work do you think you will get done on the Rotor? Quote Link to comment
521 Johnny
not even sure if its going to get a port, truck is so light and small its gonna move even if its a bone stock motor, im looking into having a motor gut freshen it up then ill see if its worth tearing it apart or just running it like it is, and i dont have the bags on front yet, but its not going to any more shows till it does or maybe even drives on its own Quote Link to comment
RATMAZ
I think an awsome ute like this needs a ported rotor. If ur going to open it up and give it a refresh you may as well. At least go a bridge port it will make the ute sound so tough. Quote Link to comment
