The problem with painting the roof white is that there is no "logical" demarcation point to body color on the A pillar. Carrying the white to the bottom raises the question "why not across the bottom of the windshield [windscreen]?" That leads to "why not paint the depressed section of the hood?" Before long, it's all white.

is there a visor on it? if so blend the white into the line of the visor so it looks like the visor is an extension of the roof!!! if not cut it at the top of the windsheild rubber, or paint the area around the winsheild but not the vent area.

He could just paint it to the top of the windshield, and carry the line across the A pillars.

Im going to make a little stainless bracket for the visor that will wrap around into the door jamb so i'll stop the white under there, it looks cool as with the visor on it, kinda chopped (almost)

That works, for some reason, random paint lines are ugly to me, they look much better when you can't see them. So hiding it under a bracket would be a great idea! :thumbup:

You could stop at the bottom of the windshield, theres a nice sharp easy to mask line there.

I reckon do the pillars as well, saw a cool one in japan that had white roof and pillars.
