Started on the rocker today.

Had Andrew remove a rock off of a donor a week or so ago. But decide to use a NOS rocker had stashed.

Pulled the door, and started cutting and grinding.

Left rocker done,

WOW what was I thinking.

Now I know what the lady that specializes in blow jobs feels like at the end of the day. My knees are done.

As i had help from Andrew gathering the ends to this rocker. I still had to use some scrap sheetmetal to fix areas of rot beyond the rocker

Now on with the rear left quarter

you make that look so easy

got knee pads

or a kneeling pad works good too

Just what I was going to say. I have a good pair of skatebord knee pads I use or a olf piece of fora from a seat that I cut down cause I was too tall

I use the pad most of the time as knee pads start too bug me after a few hours

On with the right side rocker

I'm not sure where the replacement rocker were made, but they are working out great. The metal is 14-16 gauge. My only complaint would be the ends. You have to get parts from a parts car to finish the ends.

Thanks Chris for the hook up.

Making sure the door fits. It not uncommon to hang a door 2-3 times while working out replacement panel fitment

Vic went on to seal welds, some sealer will be sanded off. This Coupe will still be a cleared bare metal shell, unseen areas will get sealer to help keep the rust out.

The clears been doing a great job on the rest of it
