the510keeper
Interior almost finished. Just waiting for Dave Pare to finish making the carbon steering column cover (this bird did not come with one). Also would like to install a center console, but that may be later. Exterior is almost there also still dusty, and wtf no 68-69 left blinker damn it Jim And no JDM grill emblem wtf The re-chromed headlight bezels and bumpers make things look great, Vic polished the grill and emblem. Things on the list to do are install the window chrome and drive it Quote Link to comment

jeffball610
You better get this shit in a magazine so the "old school" kids can see what old skool really is. But why did you not strip the interior and the jams to bare metal? Not sure if it flows right. But it's still "hella" cool as the kids say. Quote Link to comment

AtomChurch
Great pictures! Nice ratsun logo placement! haha. It looks cleared! I thought you were going to let it rust? It will be interesting to see how cars rust underpaint without the paint there to hide it. Quote Link to comment

the510keeper
Looks sick! But I think it needs wheels with some dish. I agree, someday. Wagon Jon came by and added a few custom touches to Rusty. We got a heater for Christmas (plugs in to the lighter but we don't have a lighter). With out running a huge fuse and power source this little heater melts stuff. So we called in the wiring Gremlin. Got it done with a very nice install. Mean while I installed a set of Audi truck shocks, for hood shocks. Civic truck shocks don't hold it up as well as when there new. BMW trunk shocks are short. Quote Link to comment
skibum315
I love this car ... very well done sir, and kudos to your helpers as well. Karma must certainly have your back, to be blessed with a partner who shares your passion for these cars; you guys really did a nice job on this one. Now I wonder what it would look like with some charcoal or gunmetal wheels, instead of the lighter silver ones ... ;) 2 Quote Link to comment
the510keeper
Still deciding on wheel color and possible wheel options, I would like something wider in the rear. With a lip and i would also like to weld in the rockers I have for it. We'll see if it sells. Quote Link to comment
the510keeper
It's changing color As a test this thing has not seen a garage, once in awhile a carport. Surface rust is minimum, and the metal is going bronze. 1 Quote Link to comment

Bob3
James - what are your plans for this thing? Do you plan to finish it and keep it or finish it and sell it or finish it for a customer because it is for sale? Lots of questions - huhhh ? . . . P.S. - I LOVE the work you and Victory do! Some day I want to buy a car from you two! James, I said this to you 18 months ago and now I'm finally buying a car from you! Sooo Excited! :hyper: . Quote Link to comment
