I was smart enough to make copies but i was taking another drawing to an old teacher of mine and someone stole the original of this one. This was the best one i'd done too it really saddens me that someone stole it.

I did this one for my dad. The main image is Kokopelli. It's not scanned so it's not real clear.

Im doing one for Kelly now. Well i started it shortly after i met him and havent worked on it for a couple years but it's buddist symbols. I actually cant find my art book, im hoping it's just buried in storage...It's now the best one i've done. I dont keep any of them.

I should do a datsun. Someone draw me an outline and i'll do it :D

I'm an industrial designer by training/degree and evolved into an E/M packaging

engineer and then a tradeshow exhibit designer with side trips into odd illustration

jobs, print graphics, vehicle body styling for a couple of inventors, designing and

building a prototype motorcycle driveline in collaboration with two large machine

shops, ornamental ironwork lofting and various other old world stuff before I

crashed and burned in another long ago recession. Then I was a vintage Citroen/

Renault/Peugeot mechanic, then became a delivery driver and freelance mechanic

for a long time just to be rid of the endless headaches.

I taught myself how to build basic html websites and use photo edit, paint and vector

graphics software on Windows 95, then Slackware Linux. I have some formal training

in photography which helps all around with digital images. Most recently I bought and

rebuilt a 1960 Logan lathe and 1970's Taiwan-built Edelstaal milling machine in in the

naive belief that the economy might recover enough to make a go of that as a cottage

industry. That was in late 2008 and early 2009.

This guy here is one of the best figure illustrators I've ever seen:

I'm not even exaggerating...I've seen a lot of good pro illustration work.

As long as this seems to be about not-necessarily-automotive talents, I saw

a need for people to see Scott's book illustrations. It seems like he's only

showing his car illustrations here on the site, and this work should be seen.

HA! Thanks Chris for the complement!! These guys see some of the stuff I do out side of car art, it was Ratsun that was largely responsible for voting my new kids book, JUMP into cheerios boxes this fall!

Loved reading your history, man what an ecclectic path you've run!

Heh for fun I will post some recent art:
