took me two weeks but i got my fuel pump and fuel pump regulator put in my car, got lucky and skib had a block off plate. Just need to wire the fuel pump up. not sure what i should wire it to, dont really want to just wire it to the battery.

Relay Relay RELAY!!!!

You want to wire a relay that is triggered in two positions: 1) START and 2) ON. When you crank the engine, you need fuel and obviously when it is running, you need fuel as well. Good position to get relay contact would be through the + on the coil. It has all of the right parameters and will get you going for fuel. While you're running relays, run one to give you 12 full volts at the coil as well (use the same + coil connection for that one, too)

if your too lazy to wire a relay in, use a switched power (like the radio) and an additional hidden (kill) switch ;)

relay for the win i personally would use the ignition switch itself as the signal instead of the coil + terminal but thats me

it puts out to much volume for the stock carb....i want to either take it off or put duel carbs on

so i got the stuff to wire the fuel pump up(switch, relay, inline fuse) only thing im not sure on is what size fuse to use for my fuel pump.

Hmm, for my piaa lights wich are high wattage i used a 30, i think you could get away with a 20 at most.

The 720's electric pump is a 15 amp fuse. Don't forget it's to prevent the wire getting hot so if concerned, run a thicker wire to the pump.
