getting the el dizzy hooked up, getting the su carbs set and tuned.

and after shes running the tranny is going to need to be looked at. last time i drove it i was having a hard time shifting in low gears.

I may have an extra long tail 5 speed to get rid of, Iv got 2 stored away atm

i would need a new drive line for a longtail but that might work.

Are the synchros worn or is it just low on fluid perhaps? It doesn't grind, does it?

 

The EL Dizzy is a cinch. And as far as the SU's go, I think there are enough guys in the Land of the Port that could help you get em dialed in.

fluids are fine, and yes there was more then just a bit of grinding. the dizzy is an and geting sparks, its just still not starting. and yeah the sus should be a easy fix with the help of some portland ratsuners.

Well, sounds like you could probably be driving it after a few hours of work on the dizzy and carbs.

By the way, you are very lucky to have a wife that plays video games and works on cars, my wife makes car projects extremely difficult, and she hates video games too.

I found it as soon as I figured out what kc mention in the cars for sale section, it looks good but I have spent all my funds on Xmas, I sent a msg about possibly a buy on the truck early Jan.

 

I hope it's doable, if not I want to buy your wagon skib, tax return or paycheck in Jan, I need a dd and something that can haul parts and twin boys.

Rustina, skib sold his wagon lol. Dat620guy owns it, and its for sale.

 

This KC needs to be gone, and in a quick, not only for the next big project, but due to where its located. If its not gone by the end of this month, its going to the scrapper.

 

 

Be nice if he could find a spot to stick it in Eugene at least so it doesn't goto the scrapper and he can sell it.
