Tires, battery and a little tune up. Just do a static lowering for now but full custom frame with bags is in the future. Going for kinda a rat rod shop truck look when it's all done. I went to the DOL today to register the truck in my name but they can't find it in any of their books so they can assign a value to it. So i have to go back when they can call the Department of Revenue and try to get a value from them. :blink: Quote Link to comment

Take some pics with you and all your paperwork, (to another license place), maybe you'll find someone that knows what the hell they are doing, lol. I had to do it on my dime and my hearse that way. The only reason it needs a value, is so they know you're not trying to cheat on the bill of sale value. Take the worse pics you can, and show all the rust, broken windshield, etc. They tried to tell me that my dime was worth 5K, (according to their book value, and they wanted to charge me tax on that amount), at the time is was lucky to be worth 5 bucks, lol, we settled on $500. Or both:) I actually purchased a windshield and gasket kit from the guy i bought the truck from. It's not perfect but it's WAAAYYYYYY better then the one that's in it! Quote Link to comment
