Smokin 73' 610 wagon!

Yeah i just had them laying around and thought what the hell. They do/did serve a purpose but not what you would expect! Apparently when you put hood pins on to hold your hood down and remove the stock hood latch you have to put the pins in the studs so when you are driving the hood doesnt fly up and smash your window!! So the scoops act as a sort of cusion because they are fiberglass and the hood is metal, so they hit the window first and keep it from shattering when you are driving!

Sorry guys i havent had a chance to post yet but will get on it for you ok. It only has one scoop now and its facing forward and functional so its cool now! I will post some pics of the custom dash 2! I just bought a 710 wagon and its sweet! NWO

I have a 610 2 door, and a 710 2 door....you have a 610 wagon....and a 710 wagon....good taste!

Not so much, buddy. ;)

 

Even if they were made of foam rubber, your windshield is still getting smashed when the hood flies up at 60. Try again.
