BEEBANI
Well here goes, start to finish (well, it'll never be finished!) Here's how she started, I added the pathy's, it had steelies with hub caps. I tried to bag the front with the cab on at first, then took the bed off for the notch. Made several attempts at the rear to get just the right height up and down. 2 Quote Link to comment
BEEBANI
Then I took the cab off. I then removed the torsion bar cross member. Then I notched the front frame and added in the bags and shocks. 1 Quote Link to comment

BEEBANI
This is how it looked up to that point. I made changes after that. More later! 1 Quote Link to comment
]2eDeYe
Can't wait to see what changes you've made. When are you gonna start on the body? Quote Link to comment
BEEBANI
Then I put in a GM alternator. (had to, regulator went out when I got it back from Canby) Added a Carter elec. fuel pump (Hainz loves that) Then I decided to change the bag setup in the back. After bending the original 4-link bars, I decided to make new beefer ones. I also cut off the pieces on the axle I didn't need anymore and repainted everything. This is how she sits now. This is how it used to look. Quote Link to comment
BEEBANI
I've since added 1/2" gold valves, and am currently working on installing 720 front suspension. I'll have pics of that later. I have to cut down the lower control arms and make custom uppers. The 720 has a 3" wider track in the front than the 620 from what I can tell. Quote Link to comment
Bleach
720? They looked pratically identical to me.... at least compared to the 620 discs. I guess you're converting from drums to disc. anyway, good work there Bee. You do good welding. I like that setup. Clean and simple with a fancy 620 logo. :D Quote Link to comment
airedout
Looks good!!!!!!! Deff always changing. Do your 4 link bars have nuts welded to the end of them??????? Quote Link to comment
Icehouse
Yeah that truck is sick. I also like the 620 logo as well. What are the chances I could get you to build me a Ratsun.net one? Quote Link to comment
BEEBANI
Yeah that truck is sick. I also like the 620 logo as well. What are the chances I could get you to build me a Ratsun.net one? No problem Jeff, any particular design? Yeah Dwight, they're nuts welded on with .035 hardwire in spray mode. Very hot and very fused. The bars are also .180 wall tubing. Quote Link to comment
Icehouse
No problem Jeff, any particular design? Not that I can think of. I like the font you used for your 620 with the rising sun behind it. Quote Link to comment
Pacific coast Datsun
Jason its kool to see your buildup pics again. Your frame has alot of hours into it by itself. Im interested to see how your suspension is gonna turn out. Quote Link to comment
BEEBANI
Got er all wrapped up tonight, I'm officially rollin with disc brakes and ball joints from a '85 720. Here's the custom lower arms using half of the 620 arms: And the custom uppers. Here she is all painted and put together: And guess what, when she's all said and done; the goddamn wheels toe out in the front on both sides. Time to fix that! Made sure she's straight (measured from the frame to the hub) All painted and pretty! Still a little camber at full ride height (won't drive much at that height) And all the way down. I'll be movin' on to the back next!:D Quote Link to comment
Fineline
Nice upper arm mounts! Those custom? Quote Link to comment

Bleach
very good work. You're pretty handy with that welder. Maybe later you could get some wheels that show off your fancy brake fab work front and rear. Quote Link to comment
BEEBANI
Yeah some day.......need to actually start driving it before I spend that much money on it in one shot! Uhhmm, Brandon, you're the one that got me the 15/16" Yeah I know, it was late! That would be a big-ass master cyl. Quote Link to comment
